Elizabeth Jackson born 1867? in Stretton will grow up in Clay Cross as the seventh of eight children and ....here's the family story.... immigrate into the US and marry an American. Did she?
The story teller is now deceased.
Any ideas on the computer as to what happened to her as an adult?

Baptisms at Clay Cross:

6 October 1869 - Elizabeth, daughter of George and Hannah Jackson of Stretton, George is a Collier.  Brother George baptised on the same day.

8 April 1863 - Elizabeth, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Jackson of Clay Cross.  Joseph is a Collier.  Sister Sarah is baptised on the same day.

Hello,

Do you have Elizabeth with her parents and siblings in any census in UK?
Are you looking for her in Derbyshire or UK?

Other threads of yours link to George Jackson and Hannah Purdy. Is Elizabeth their daughter? The baptism shown by BumbleB would link to this family.
GRO shows her birth as 1869.
There is also a death for a child Elizabeth Jackson in 1870. There is a burial too for 6months o,d Elizabeth Jackson.

The family are here, I think, but no Elizabeth.
1871 3608/32/5
1881 3429/94/9

If this is not the correct family, will you post more information, please.

Regards
Heywood

Yes, George Jackson and Hannah Purdy Jackson. And, I found those deaths in Matlock records years ago. At the time, my then elders refuted them. Too much here say makes me believe them. I  just wondered if she showed up in any UK emigration listings or US immigration lists.
The other missing of the 8 siblings, another grand aunt, is Mary Ann, b. 1865, Stretton,
who immigrated to Canada sometime in the 1890s.
  Thanks.

Perhaps the elders were confusing her with Mary Ann.
