Hi June . . . . . .

Truly, not having a go at you, but your photo could have been bigger by cropping out the white around the actual photo. When you scan, pull the 'net/ marching ants' around the photo.  At least then you get all photo and not half scanner bed.

Please don't be scared away.

Hope I am not preaching to the knowledgeable, but see below.  Might help for future reference.  Your scanner might look different but will have the same sort of things I imagine.   As you see, these are really poor resolution of 50 dpi..

Just trying to be helpful.     :)

Wiggy,I know you are not having a go at me, I am 83 yrs young and still learning these new fangled things, I am getting these photos over the net all the way from South Shields Co Durham, I am lucky to have found relatives from way back.  I appreciate all of the comments,

Reagards from the Lady across the pond.

And from another Downunder... :D

Wow, you two have been busy while I've been sweating outside!

If all else fails and you still have any trouble, June, you could send a message through Rootschat’s Personal Message system to me (or one of the other restorers). We could then message back to you an email address to send your image to for one of us to resize it and post it on your behalf.

Cheers,
Peter
