I am trying to find my G,Grandfather. On my Grandfathers wedding certificate his name is Stephen Rolls Dixon, however, I can find his death but not birth.
The only birth I can find is Stephen Rowles Dixon born in Oundle . Any advice would be apreciated.
Thanks

I would say this is the same person - 1871 birthplace given as Kings Cliffe, Northampton and Kings Cliffe came under the registration district of Oundle.

Father shown as John Dixon, tailor on his marriage certificate.
1851 census in Kings Cliffe shows a John Dixon, master tailor, with wife Eliza and children, including a Stephen Rowles Dixon (transcribed on ancestry as Rowler).

You people are marvellous, my grandfathers wedding Certificate is Wandsworth Oct 8th 1899, he married Louisa Flack, but is showing both Fathers Stephen Rolls Dixon & George Fowler Flack as deceased.
Thank you all

Welcome to Rootschat. Simple mistake of the vicar or registrar writing it as they thought it was spelled. You'll find that sort of thing happens frequently.
