 - she can be found on this index, which confirms her death was registered in Cuyahoga County and gives the same date as the cemetery. A copy can be ordered for $7.
Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

https://cpl.org/newsindex/   look down in additional information.  It explains how to get a copy of the obit.

Thanks, Genealiza.  I sent in a request for an obituary.  I hope this is the right Abbie C. Childs.  I didn't expect to find her in Cleveland but anything is possible.

I didn't see her in the index of obituaries available there, so one may not exist.

I couldn't open Genealiza's first link.  Just got this message:

"Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/cplorg/lockbox/web_functions.inc:167) in /home/cplorg/lockbox/web_functions.inc on line 6"

So I worked on the assumption that there is an obituary available.  Oh well, we'll see.

I noticed that the first link didn't open earlier today, so I redid it.  It worked for a while, then went back to the message.  It must time out.

If you take the 2nd link, from "Search the" tap on the News Index box and then tap onto the Necrology File.  I put in "Childs".  There is a Catheryne Childs who dies 8 Mar 1957

Actually, if you just use the 2nd link and put in "Childs" or "Childs, Catheryne" you'll get the "notes" from the obit.

The new CPL format is not necessarily better than the old one.
