Has OP viewed their thread
« on: Sunday 28 January 18 18:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi all, I know this subject has cropped up many times, but as I for one stay "Logged in" to RootsChat, does it automatically mean I am viewing something on a thread?

How could it possibly mean that you have seen every post on every thread?  There must be tens of thousands of topics you never opened at all.

I have two current threads ( and many previous), where I have carried out extensive research it would "appear" that my handywork has been viewed, just wanted to know if this was fact? :)

There's really no way to tell if someone else has read any particular thread unless they've posted a comment. The only thing you can really check is when they last logged in.

OK can go with that, so at some stage the ones I know "Logged in" but did not reply to their own thread.

OK thanks all.
