Morris - Birmingham/Redditch

Hi everyone I have posted before. My grandad married a lady called Lily Ivy Morris while he was still married to my nan Florence. There were 2 boys born to the marriage to Lily and Ronald. I have identified one son as Robert William Morris born 4th June 1947, he sadly died in 1999. I am drawing a blank ad to who the other child is. Ronald and Lily married on 21st December 1946 when she was expecting Robert. Lily lived in Birmingham then at some point moved to Redditch. Roberts last known address was the same as Lily’s until his death in 1999. If anyone could help in identifying the other sibling to Robert it really would be appreciated x

Rootschat is not for finding living people
Have you looked for an obituary or will for Robert as that may name his brother.

Hi
Rootschat has a no living persons policy so details of any person who may still be alive cannot be posted here
I notice Robert's birth was registered as Morris not Colman and mmn is also shown as Morris which may indicate that Lily was aware it was a bigamous marriage.
There are a number of Morris/Morris birth registrations in Birmingham from 1948 onwards but no Colman/Morris

Thank u for your replies, I didn’t realise about the living people policy sorry. Lily married my grandad on 21.12.46, by the time Robert was born in June 1947 she was on the birth certificate as Lily Morris.

If the marriage had not been bigamous and if your grandfather was indeed Roberts father - then his birth would have been registered as Colman.
If there was another son - it looks as though he was also registered as Morris so that makes it more difficult to find
Did your grandfather leave a will? There may be a mention of the son in it. Did Lily die as Morris or Colman and did she leave a will?
