Have just noticed that this is a look up board and you can't attach images on these posts.  You could start another posting(thread) on

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/beginners/

I'll send you my e-mail address and I could put it up on here for you as a snip.

Collene has sent me a photo of James's marriage cert and another file which I can't open!  I've done a snip of the marriage cert, which shows James's birthplace and parents' names.
So Bangor on Dee, Flintshire or Bangor, Caernarfonshire.

More investigations needed!

James b.c. 1860 according to this.

If Henry was a fisherman, I don't think they would have lived in Bangor on Dee but not ruling it out!

Hi,
Are you sure that James William Ambrose Lewis, d.1912 age 60 years is the same person as James Lewis, aged 37 years, married 1897 to Elizabeth Shaw. There is a difference of 8 years in the given ages.

In my experience, death cert info is less reliable than the marriage info, when the person was alive The person providing the death info might only have limited/approx info. or might just have guessed.  There is an age discrepancy but I think Collene wants to follow up on the information that was provided on marriage cert.

So far, I've done a sweep on births/baptisms 1850-1860. I might have missed some as I was struggling with a program problem!
