Thanks to all of you!  This will be used for a website on the history of local villages and the blurry picture of the man spoiled it.  This photo was taken about 1948 so the man in it would be well over 100 if he is alive today.  I would have kept him in the picture if I could identify him as the landlord but that is not possible.  The only alternative photos were taken in the 1990s complete with a fresh coat of white paint, modern advertising banners, satellite dish and cars parked outside.  It was demolished about 10 years ago so there was no other solution.  Thanks again.
