Richard Edwin Johns (1906-1995) and Frederic James Johns (1909- )

Brothers, the children of Mabel Davey (who may well have died in W.A. in 1942) and Alfred Bennett Johns. Richard Edwin Johns died and is buried in Busselton. He  lived at 37 Reynolds Street Busselton with his wife Mary Kathleen. Australian army records name Josephine Johns as the wife of Frederic Johns. There is reason to believe Frederic was in Busselton also
The Johns sons are part of the wider Cornwall family of Elizabeth (nee Winn) and John Roberts.  Their grandmother was Harriet Jane Roberts. Several of Harriet's brothers settled in the Bendigo area.
I am not getting very far in trying to  learn more of the lives of Richard and Frederic Johns, and would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

WA BMD do not seem to have a record of a Mabel JOHNS death at all up to 1971, nor can I see a death in WA for for Alfred.

And I didn't know, Sue, that Josephine's maiden name was Hogan. Thanks again.

Mabel JOHNS and Thomas G ACE married 1942 in Perth. Reg #1074

Mabel ACE died at Busselton in 1944.  Reg #26 Sussex District.

Hi Rodney53,

You probably have this info already.

Alfred, 29 with Mabel, 22 and Alfred, 2 landed in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada on 22nd April 1905, they were on board the Sicillian.

Alfred, Mabel, Alfred, Richard and Fred were back in the UK in 1910 arriving in London from St John's Newfoundland on the Pomeranian on 31st Jan 1910.

Richard and Fred were born in Canada.
