I should stop looking at this.  ;D

I am now wondering why the "K" in "Parker" is so big.
Just an idea (I really don't want to complicate things!), but could it be:

I xxxx for Wm P an(d) Kin... (?)

I'm happy to be contradicted where necessary so long as we get there in the end. Doctor's writing is notoriously bad even these days and was obviously no better back then. Makes me wonder if the recipient of the letter was as baffled as we are!
The writer of this letter was a doctor!!!!!!!

Its DEFINITELY Mrs Parker because she appears elsewhere in other documentation written by somebody else with a better hand!

I'm coming to this one late, but I agree with Dawn and Carol i.e. I write for Mrs Parker and ....the orphan Mrs P applied for live some miles off.....
