Look up request: Thomazine Leigh

It's a long shot!

I'm looking for any information whatsoever regarding a woman called Thomazine Leigh. All I know is that she married Vine Plowman on January 5, 1804, in Corfe-Mullen, Dorset.

Any help all at all is much appreciated

The marriage was by licence, she was of Corfe Mullen he was of Blandford at the time of marriage

trying to find burial for Thomazine to possibly get her y.o.b. -but no luck yet

Wonder if she died Dorset Somerset or St Helier Jersey??

Vine Plowman remarried 2 Aug 1827 St Helier -described as widower of Crewkorne Somerset (married Susannah Jefferey widow) and by 1851 Vine had married again to Ann
Thomazine & Vine had a daughter 1819 in St Helier

Son Henry Vine Plowman died of consumption 1848 in St Helier age 43
Vine died in St Helier 1866 cause " decay of nature"

but not found Thomazine

Thomazine Leigh Plowman was buried 18/12/1825 St. Helier, Jersey (wife of Vine) per FindMyPast.   No age is given.

Vine was born around 1781 according to the 1861 census so we are looking at a birthyear for Thomazine between 1781-1784 (ish)

The "of Corfe Mullen" may just be where she was living at the time of marriage and not necessarily her birthplace.  Have you looked in Jersey for her birth?

I have done, but haven't found anything yet - will keep looking :)

Thomazine  Leigh. b 28 Oct 1796. St Mary and St Peter, Salcombe Regis, Devon.
father  William Leigh,  mother  Sarah.

Could be miss transcribed for the year, need to see original.
