Catherine Ryan B1879 Ballingarry
« on: Tuesday 06 February 18 10:20 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I’m trying to find out more about my great grandmother. On 1911census she lived in Manchester England. But was born in Ballingarry Tipperary. She married John Obrien around 1908. I think she had a sister Mary Ryan and possibly more siblings. That’s about all I know, I’ve been told there is a family farm in Ballingarry. Can anyone help?!?!?

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.

Hi casmith,

Here is one that I found earlier
No, I can’t see a marriage either.

I wonder if this is Kate’s birth- awful writing but number 291

Have you found the twins births? I can find a Joseph O’Brien with mmn Ryan but not the twins.
I wonder if she was married previously.

I think this is the Kate from the birth record but there are a lot of Ryans and I can’t find a marriage in the right district.
