Not with a brother, unfortunately

DEATH 1880:  Registered in the BC BMD records as FRED HAMPTON
He was 99 when he died 18 April 1880, 6 months shy of a 100.
Names his parents as James HAMPTON and Ann BERRYMAN
Single. Informant was a Nurse.

Trying to find out if Fred had a sister who married a CHADWICK.....

Hard to say when they got married, but they seemed to be living in different residences. Leonard was living with his mother by 1927.

Never expected to find this, but there was a death notice for William Kenneth Hampton in The Vancouver Sun - Sep 28, 1954, Page 30 of 42.

Doesn't say much, but he did serve in WWI and was survived by two sisters in England.

Couldn't find a death notice for Annie.

Divorced though they may have been, Annie kept his name. Deceased 26 October, 1953.

Informant is given as son, "LSF LeRoy"

Leonard Stanley F LeRoy deceased Vancouver 9 July 1972, aged 67. No death certificate posted.

edited to add: The F stood for Felix. Marriage of Leonard (born Surrey, UK) on 15 May 1937 shows his father was Charles Felix LeRoy born Brussels, Belgium.

Thanks but I have seen those records. Seperately I have been trying to find death of Leonards wife Dorothy Violet nee Russell without much success. I am not sure if Leonard and Dorothy stayed together as a 1965 voter record shows her with person that I assume is her son with no Leonard shown.
