Warrington Lido?, Sussex

The 1861 census for Great Broughton, Cumbria shows a John HEASMAN aged 45 (and family) with John's place of birth shown as "Warrington Lido?, Sussex".  Can anyone tell me where this is in Sussex?

He seems to be Edward on all the other censuses.

1851 gives his pob as Slaugham.  1881 "Not known", 1891 gives Slaugham.

1851
Islfield
H/H of William Cassenden
Edward Heasman 32 lodger ag lab bn Slaugham
Agness 31  lodgers wife bn Firle
Edward 8 lodgers son bn Lindfield

and Slaugham does have a lake:

Just to add to the mix.  I am not convinced it is a W.  Look at William and Wid and the letter is not formed in the same way.
This may be relevant - though a bit early.

A mistranscribed "Warning Lid" perhaps? Warninglid seems to be often written as two words.
