Fannie McClure
« on: Tuesday 13 February 18 03:05 GMT (UK) »
I need help. She was born in 1874 in Arkansas. Her dads name was Thomas J. McClure. He was born in 1854 in Missouri. I have no clue who Fannies mom is. I haven't found her in any census records. I've only found her in a marriage record to Jasper Bell. She did live in Oklahoma.

In 1910 it appears Thomas was living in Oklahoma with his wife Elizabeth and Fannie's children.   However the census only lists  Thomas and Elizabeth being married for 15 years  :-\
 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MLW3-LHZ

The 1910 census lists Thomas as being married once and Elizabeth twice.  There is a possible marriage for the couple -    Thomas J. Mc Clure - Elizabeth J. Mc Clure   Marriage 2 Feb 1896   Muskogee, Oklahoma   Could Fannie have been a child of Elizabeth??

A possible for Fanny and mother Elizabeth in 1880?  Elizabeth's parents birth places are listed as North Carolina as in the 1900 and 1910 censuses

Added -I wonder if this might be Elizabeth's first marriage to a J J Mcclure?? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQG6-YJS

I found Thomas McClure living in Healing Springs, Arkansas in the 1880 census. He is single and living by himself. Who did Elizabeth marry again? Thank you.

My suggestion re a first marriage for Elizabeth

 Elizabeth J Leverett age 26 to a J J Mcclure  age 26  on  26 Dec 1866   Arkansas  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQG6-YJS

and a second marriage for Elizabeth

Thomas J. Mc Clure to Elizabeth J. Mc Clure   Marriage 2 Feb 1896   Muskogee, Oklahoma  -   on Ancestry

The birth certificate for Fannie Bell's youngest son Thomas J Bell is available in Oklahoma, born 2 April 1905 Pittsburg.
The certificate will give the names of the parents you know as Jasper and Fannie Bell, but it may give the names they were known by locally. That sounds odd but I've found ancestors who went by their
middle name or a nickname instead of their registered name.

I couldn't find one for Velma or Gilbert.
