A transcription of the church version of the above record of marriage on 22 April 1895 provides both parents for bride and groom.  John's were recorded as Charles McManus and Mary Anne Cassidy.  Margaret was recorded with the surname Meally and her parents given as Thomas Meally and Margaret Lawson.

A possibility lies in Manorhamilton marriage banns for Charles McManus and Mary Cassidy, both living in 'Killinagh'(?), who got married on 3 April 1846.

Has the marriage of John and Bridget Connelly been found?

Some O'Malley stuff.

Church records of marriage for the following civil registrations show the bride's parents in each case as Thomas O'Malley and Margaret Lawson, so possibly sisters of Margaret who married John McManus in 1895?

Julia O'Malley:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1897/10462/5809878.pdf
Charlotte O'Malley:

Mary O'Malley:

Birth of Julia O'Malley:

Birth of Charlotte O'Malley:

Birth of Mary O'Malley:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1878/02965/2086343.pdf

And the birth of Margaret O'Malley who married John McManus:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1872/03261/2195470.pdf

This is a possibilty for Thomas O'Malley and Margaret Lawson in 1901 ...

... given that there is the following birth of a John O'Malley in 1887:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1887/02538/1939877.pdf

This is a possibility for Thomas O'Malley in 1911 ...
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Sligo/Collooney/Cartronduffy/754920/
... ... given that there is the following birth of a Sarah O'Malley in 1870:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1870/03323/2218301.pdf
... who married Martin McGoldrick in 1901:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1901/10327/5759424.pdf

There is a civil marriage registration under Sligo for Thomas OMelia and Margaret Lawson in Q1 1869, volume 12, page 295, the image is yet to be uploaded to the 'IrishGenealogy' website.

Death of Margaret (Lawson) O'Malley in 1907:

Death of Thomas O'Malley in 1921, informant was daughter Margaret McManus:

The 1895 marriage of John McManus to Margaret O'Malley showed the groom as a widower.  John's previous marriage was to Mary Harte in 1881:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1881/10990/8018491.pdf

Mary's death in 1893:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1893/05994/4705182.pdf

I mention it because the church record of the 1881 marriage is consistent in identifying both parents of John - Charles McManus and Mary Cassidy - and it indicates John's residence as Roo, County Cavan (8th entry down from top):

While I can't see a baptism for John McManus, I can see the following in respect of a couple called Charles McManus and Mary Cassidy:

- a son Frank baptised in 1861 in the RC parish of Killinagh, County Cavan, the address given as 'Rue'
- a daughter Ellen born in 1864, same address as above and Charles was recorded as a shoemaker:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1864/03596/2325785.pdf
- a daughter Alice born in 1867:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1867/03485/2281043.pdf
- a daughter Mary Anne born in 1869:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1869/03373/2236462.pdf

The previously mentioned 1846 'Killinagh' marriage now looks more promising.

Possibility in 1901 census?

Possible death for Mary?
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1903/05671/4597178.pdf

Maybe Charles' death?

Apparently John "Sean" Culkin that I need to find was born to Larry Culkin and ? Mary Miles.
Sorry should clarify that I have John married to Bridget Connolly and had 9 children born with first 2 passing very young.
I believe Bridget's parents maybe Patrick Connolly 1846 and Anne McDonnell 1852.
It is the Larry and his spouse I cannot find nor if there were any siblings for John.
Thanks again
