White/Kelly/Mather which one is my great-grandmother
« on: Thursday 22 February 18 12:31 GMT (UK) »
As some of you will know I've had many attempts at trying to find my great-grandmother Sarah Kelly. She was born in Queens County in 1853, I know this because I have her marriage certificate in England when she married William Mather in 1873 and this also shows her father as Michael Kelly.  I still occasionally go back to my notes to review the links and ideas I've had to find her in Ireland but because the name is so common I've never had any luck.
I recently found a record for Raheen | Microfilm 04202 / 01  Ballinagar Diocese Kildare and Leighlin showing a Catholic baptism for 5 June 1857 birth of Sarah to Essy White and Michael Kelly.  I have seen this name before but have still been unable to make a link that I have the right Sarah.
I had seen a previous post regarding the White family but no mention of an Essy.  I wonder if anyone interested in the White's know this name?
Any help appreciated.
