Digby Essex
« on: Sunday 25 February 18 21:38 GMT (UK) »
Ruth Digby was my 5G grandmother and married Thomas Lancaster in Finchingfield on 22 Jan 1767. They only had two children as far as I know, in 1768 and 1770, so he is probably the TL who died in 1771. Unfortunately I haven't found anything on Ruth's birth (or Thomas's for that matter). I would be very pleased if someone could help me leap over this brick wall...

My Digbys originallly come from Wethersfield and finchingfield at the end of 1600s and then move down to rayne and panfield. I will check and see if she is related.

Haven’t found anything other than their marriage, just as you have. Some of my digbys were nonconformist but didn’t see anything on the bmds.
