Can anybody identify the station, hotel and graveyard in Jersey?
« on: Sunday 25 February 18 21:40 GMT (UK) »
Good evening,

These photo's were taken by my grandmother in Jersey, before the war I would say. Can anybody identify either the station (my granddad on the left), the hotel (the photo has written 'Fellenberg' underneath) or the Graveyard in the photo and an approx date?  They stayed in Corbiere and there bay window looked eastwards at what looks to the ocean.

Any help is appreciated.

Many thanks

Fellenberg was a house in Midvale Road, St Helier - try Google and Jersey Archive.

That's great guys, the gravestone would have been erected in 1929 or close to and I believe the main railway services 'stopped' in 1935/6 due to a fire making it economical to repair. So that's great for dates.  The house is still there on Google maps as well.  Just wondered if anybody could identify the type of train or station?

Thanks again for you help.
