FindMyPast new facility for Census searches

Not sure if this has been noted elsewhere    FindMyPast have now given us the opportunity to search ALL the UK census records by address.  Originally only available on the 1911, 1901 and the 1939 Register, the facility has now been extended to 1841 to 1911.

However, the only way to access this new facility is via the A-Z list.

Thanks for letting us know that BumbleB, what do we put in the search bar of the A-Z list?

On the home page, there are three small pictures, and the right-hand one says A-Z records.  If you click on that it takes you to another page, and the census records are the first ones to be seen.

Just to add - I have the A-Z bookmarked. I've got the Pro version now so I can select whichever country I want in the side bar

Have you also noticed that when doing a census or 1939 search you get the number of people with your chosen name appear in the blue bar at the bottom of the screen?

The address search has been there for some time, but you had to fill in the street name way down the search form for the relevant census.

They have now made it obvious with a big button at the top of the form, and you can than search for, say, a named street anywhere in a whole county. Very useful in a place like Liverpool, where more than one registration district is involved.

Hi This sounds like a really interesting thing to do - please an someone help me work through the steps?
I have clicked on the A to Z box and it takes me to a page where on the left hand side are different record sets World  /Australia /Untied Kingdom / Ireland /Gt Britain.
I clicked on Gt Britain and on the right hand side of the page it  lists different census, it starts with 1801 Kent, Dartford census but I can see all the others,  1841 etc listed.
There is a search box but when I have tried typing in an address it says 'no results for historical records'
How can I get it to work?
