Edward and Elizabeth Parry c. 1841
« on: Thursday 01 March 18 16:18 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find any details about Edward and Elizabeth Parry, who had children baptized in Nercwys between 1830 and 1840.  Problem is that there seems to have been 2 couples with this name and I can't separate them.  If anyone else is researching either of these couples, would be very pleased to hear about what you have found!

WElcome.

would the village be known by any other name(s)/what's the local "big" town/village.

What children can you name & date? Finding kids is easier than finding adults

The definite children in the line I am looking for are George 1835, Maria 1836, Edward 1838 and Ruth 1840.  There was also Peter in 1842.  But, by co-incidence, both couples had a child called Peter born in 1842 (both babies died that same year).  One mother was Elizabeth Williams, the other Elizabeth Jones.  Edward and Ruth should have been registered too, but they weren't.

Yes, by 1851 they were living with their sister and brother in law, Robert and Margaret Drury.  Parents have gone.   After that, as Margaret died in 1852, they all gradually leave the village.

Thanks for checking.  Part of the 1841 census is missing and I suspect  that they are on that part.
