General question
« on: Thursday 01 March 18 20:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi

If someone was born / married / died in Tredegar, or Blaina, or Merthyr Tydfil where would they register? In Merthyr Tydfil?

Thanks

David

it depends on the period as it has changed over the years. Tredegar & Blaina would have been under Bedwellty at the period of your query, anything before July 1861 it would have been Abergavenny. If you click on the registration district on FreeBmd, you can check the parishes in a registration district.

Merthyr Tydfil isn't in Monouthshire
