Help finding father of Thomas Clarke

I'm stuck trying to find the father of Thomas Clarke (needle hardener) of Sambourne Warwickshire.

Born or Christened 1846 - died  11th July 1910  - Married Mary Jane Clarke 2/4/1877 

Found this thread on roots chat about him.

Possible father maybe a George Clark or Clarke of Parish Coughton. But not sure.  Any advice / info would be greatly appreciated.

The only Thomas CLARKE around the right time I can see registered at Alcester (which includes Sambourne) is registered Sept qtr 1845 (16/151), mother's maiden name BRADLEY.

Then there is a possible marriage of John CLARKE to Jane BRADLEY reg Dec 1846 at Alcester (16/351)?

Was Thomas married previously? There is this 1871 census at Studley

The image of his marriage certificate at St Phillips Church Birmingham on 2 April 1877 is as follows

Thomas Clarke 31 widower, steel hardener, Bread Street, father George Clarke, labourer
Mary Jane James age 25 widow, Bread Street, father Thomas Boulton, labourer
witnesses  ? Parker, Samuel Parker

So if this is your correct ancestor, he was married once before.

The birth entry found is the correct one.

In 1851 Thomas plus siblings are with their parents in Sambourne, Warwickshire - George bc.1814 Inkberrow, Worcestershire and Mary bc.1816 Kings Heath, Warwickshire - shown on census as Clark.

George Clarke married Mary Bradley 2/11/1835 Coughton, Warwickshire.

That's great Annette, I couln't find Thomas on the 1851 and obviously wasn't looking back far enough for the parents' marriage.

Things ground to a halt with Thomas a long time ago, my father would have been thrilled to bits to have learnt this new information as I am.
