Yes! I have family letters, death certificates, etc., from 1861 on and have actually found distant cousins from that particular line who don't live terribly far from me (I'm about 15min north of Reading, they're just south of Reading)! I'm now working backwards to find anything pre-1851. Every census I have states that Elizabeth L, John, and Sarah were born in Ireland, with the remainder of their siblings born either in Anglesey or Carlisle.

Considering that my (4)great grandfather Maurice (O')Connell (they tended to drop the O' at times and did completely after his death in 1859) worked as a maths teacher while living in Menai Bridge, and Jane as a schoolmistress, I'd assume that should be easily traceable for that particular period in time? Maurice moved the family to Stanwix, Carlisle as he became the head of a reformatory there. However, what they did/where they lived 1851 and before is an unknown.

That's the same John Williams! However his parents' names don't fit with the prior census records found.. the Thomas Williams does, however the Sampson Wallace doesn't. Hmm...

From the 1851 census I'm pretty sure that Mary is the sibling I'm looking for. In the letters I have from Elizabeth Connell she refers to an "Aunt Mary" who died on 5 August 1882. She lived with (or was married to) an Edward, I assume he was her husband, and further reading in said letters leads me to believe his last name is Hughes (and that he had a brother named Hugh Hughes in Bangor). I have zero knowledge of a David.

Regarding Lenna Steel, she was the daughter of Sarah (O')Connell and James Steel. Sarah died in 1870, and Lenna died in 1906.

Ah, FANTASTIC!!! You are amazing. A cousin and I have been trying to make some kind of headway with either the Williams or O'Connells and I think we may have cracked at least a portion of it!
