William Hawker on convict ship Adelaide 1849
« on: Monday 05 March 18 20:44 GMT (UK) »
I have found William Hawker, who was convicted of sheep stealing at Castle Morton in 1847, and transported for 10 years. He was on the convict ship Adelaide arriving in Australia in 1849 and I wondered what happened to him.

Can anyone help me please?

His 1849 issued Ticket of leave #1438 allowed him to remain within the Moreton Bay district (in present day Queensland).

Agree with Robert ... more info needed  :) to avoid confusing with others of that name.
