I agree 124 ... the couple are living at 42 Benson Rd in 1939.
Almeroth, Germany (probably Hessen). Mawer, Softley, Johnson, Lancaster, Tatum, Bucknall (E.Yorks, Nfk, Lincs)

I agree 124 ... the couple are living at 42 Benson Rd in 1939.

But compare the 9 in her age - 19. It's closer than the 4 in 42 Benson Road

 I agree that they look very similar but when looking at the 9 on her age the first stroke is light and rounded but on the address it is a bold downward stroke making me believe it is a 4.  So I still vote for 124.

According to the 1939 Register, several of the houses in Prescott St were what would now be called "houses of multiple occupation" ... rather like bedsits perhaps.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

I darkened the various numbers and now think it is a 4 - so vote for 124  :)
