1895 Lambeth marriage look up please

I am trying to find a Lambeth marriage with bride's surname Poulter or Poulton and groom's surname Barker about 1895. Any help would be much appreciated

Thank you BumbleB, it might be. Are there any other details, such as fathers 'names, addresses etc? The information I had named the bride as "Ian" Poulton/Poulter, but I should think that is a transcription error.

If you look at the source BumbleB quotes, you will see that it shows [free & transcribed by volunteers] the information from the GRO indexes with name, year, quarter, volume and page. Each parish register page had 2 marriages, hence there being 2 male & 2 female names on each page. Free bmd & GRO  indexes do not tell you who married who till 1912. The parish register image may be viewable on family search [free] or ancestry or findmypast [paysites]. Or you can order the certificate online from GRO for £9.25.

PS how have you come by the Lambeth location & approximate date?

Thank you josey. I found the Lambeth location and date from a tree on FamilySearch, but it had the bride as Ian Poulton, father James Poulter and the groom just as Mr Barker with no sources attached.

Marriage locator puts the marriage in Lambeth RO/NC - I presume that means Register Office or Non conformist?

Perhaps the couple registered these children as if they were married....

There is a tree on ancestry [always check their facts!!] with this family but marriage stated to be 1894 & Sarah's maiden name not known.

ADDED: sadly I cannot find Lambeth parish registers on ancestry or FindMyPast.

Thank you josey. They look like the same family, so presumably that is why the tree owners on Ancestry and on FamilySearch guessed the marriage date in line with the first child. I have found 12 children altogether from this union on the GRO index. Sarah Ann has the same date of birth as "Ian", so it seems to fit.
