Knossington Grange School
« on: Friday 09 March 18 16:43 GMT (UK) »
My brother, Nicholas Campbell Gordon (1946 - 2007), attended this school sometime in the 1950s. Has anyone come across any records of pupils at this school?
Gordon, Foster, Gorrill

I have a list of pupils at Knossington Grange School where I was also a pupil - see attached PDF.  I do not remember Nicholas unfortunately.

Very many thanks. I'm sure many other ex-pupils will now surface.

You may be interested to know that two other pupils from that time have had notable careers.  John Steiner became a film and television actor, starring in over 90 films and is now a realtor working in Beverley Hills Ca.  You can see his career if you look him up on imdb.  You can find George Meredith in a Netflix series titled Wild Wild Country.  He became a doctor in London then became a follower of Indian mystic Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, becoming his personal doctor and involved in the ensuing scandals - it's quite the story.  I gather he's still one of the leaders of the organization.

The only other two I know of are Martin Sellick and Christopher Wood, both unfortunately deceased.  I remained friends with both after leaving Knossington and Chris until he died about five years ago.

Good luck with your hunt.

I have a photograph of Knossington Grange School pupils and staff taken, I believe, in the 1950s. If others are interested I am willing to post it here.

I would like to know when this photograph was taken. On the reverse is a stamp which reads: 'The Melton Studios, (Prop: S. G. Skyrme.) 4, Sherrard St., Melton Mowbray.
