Holywell cum Needingworth, HUNTS - PR Look Up Request - HULL

Hello,

I have recently come across the below marriage in the Boyd's Marriage Index:

James Overall & Corinnah Hull  1667 Holywell cum Needingworth, Huntingdonshire


I was hoping someone may have access to the Parish Registers for Holywell cum Needingworth and be able to let me know the date of the marriage and if there are any other details recorded, i.e. which parishes the bride and groom may have come from? I realise that it is an early record and the date may be the only thing recorded.

This couple settled in Ramsey, where they baptised 13 children from 1668-1692. James was a grocer, he passed away in Ramsey in 1704 and I have his will. Carrina passed away in Ramsey in 1712, and I also have her will. I am fairly sure that James Overall came from Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire, I have a copy of his father Henry Overall's will dated 1670. But I have no idea where Carrina came from. I was hoping as the marriage took place in Holywell cum Needingworth, rather than Ramsey, that perhaps she was from this area.

If anyone is able to check the baptisms/marriages/burials for Holywell cum Needingworth around that time to see if there are other Hull records that would be greatly appreciated. I expect that Carrina Hull was born in the 1640's.

Can't find any in the immediate area or any births in Cambridgeshire.

hmm, thanks...will have a look, but as you say...not much info there!

I wonder what the died before 1767 is about? Did they just pop +100yrs onto their marriage date??

Looks like they just worked back and forward from marriage for birth and death. The original PR is on that site.
