1891 Census has a Arthur Austin Spooner born c 1889   Staffordshire living in Trentham with Parents JOHN/EMMA and Siblings.

Well done Trish - Dresden is the Ecclesiastical District, of which Longton is a part 

John Spooner married Emma Blundert in 1881.  ADDED:  Not sure now, from what you've found, Trish.  I can't see a marriage between Spooner and Austin.

Maybe they never married as Emma was already married to a Mr Austin?

John Spooner married Emma Blundert in 1881. 

That is a different couple.  I think Emma may have been Emma MIL(L)WARD married to Thomas AUSTIN in 1872.  Eliza registered Stoke on Trent, Albert and Arthur registered Stone.  I don't see how Albert is not John SPOONER's son when he and Emma were together in 1891.  Perhaps they met just before the census and Emma was already pregnant.  Albert's birth was registered in the Dec quarter.

I think Emma may have been Emma MIL(L)WARD married to Thomas AUSTIN in 1872. 

Eliza registered Stoke on Trent, Albert and Arthur registered Stone. 

I don't see how Albert is not John SPOONER's son when he and Emma were together in 1891.

The marriage entry image, available via FindMyPast, confirms the information.  JPS is a bachelor Bricklayer, aged 37, father John also a Bricklayer.  Emily Austin (x) is 42 and a widow.  Father is Richard Millwood, a Potter.
