nottingham and general advertiser

 is there any sites that has free access to newspapers, i am trying to save an item in  the Nottingham and general advertiser  1834,   only to do this they want an annual subscription or expensive pay as you go.  thank you .

Were you able to access the article itself?  If so, you could probably (or hopefully) get a screen shot of it!

If you live in England or Wales then perhaps your local library has a subscription to FindMyPast who appear to have access to the newspaper concerned.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

If you register with the British Newspaper Archive I believe you are given three free pages to get you started.
