Details of the above have already been posted (see reply 7:)

If Harry & Annie Thomas are the correct parents for Margaret Matilda Thomas born c1901
and she’s not with them on the latest census (see reply 8)
here’s a possibility for Margaret for you to look into  - no middle name given
Margaret Thomas age 9 born Bridgend a patient – 1911 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWXD-DZM

For info. 2 hospitals built on Cefn-Hirgoed  Common in 1906 which were isolation  hospitals

Two possible death certs too

Dec 1948  Jenkins,  William A    Age 48    Aylesbury   Vol 6a p292

 Dec 1949 Jenkins,    William A    Age 53    North Bucks.Vol 6a p391

It's a tough call which one but they both tie in with the birth certs and Margarets death certificate record.

Edit   inclined to go with the first!

I think you could be right about the first one being William's death entry

Newspaper Bucks Herald 21 March 1952 (there's a picture of the couple)
The marriage of
Mr David Austin Jenkins eldest son of Mrs. M  M Jenkins and the late Mr W A Jenkins
of 34 Old Stoke Road Aylesbury, his sister was a bridesmaid and her husband the best man

I believe the John Jenkins referenced (1911 living at 79 Coity Road, Bridgend) is my great-great grandfather.  Born around 1870, appearing in Wales census in 1871, 1881.  Coming to USA sometime between 1881 and returning to Wales before 1900.  Married with wife and kids in USA.  Returned to Wales; second wife and kids in Wales.  William Austin Jenkins would be his first from his second wife (Margaret) Would love to prove my hunch and help.  Jim  jim.smith@bearcreekschool.com

Hi Jim,
That's really incredible to hear. My father often told me that he had relatives in the US.
What sort of information have you gathered so far?
Can you tell me the name of the woman he married and in which state?
I'm sorry to bombard you with questions I'm just very excited.
Thanks so much in advance!

I believe my John Jenkins was born in Kenfig Hills around 1870-1874 and came to the United States in the mid 1800s.  He would have married Patience Bubble and had 3-5 children here in the USA.  Walter Jenkins, William Jenkins, Nelena Jenkins, and George Jenkins.  I believe he returned to Wales between 1897 and 1900.  I believe John's parents were William Jenkins and Margaret Morgans.  I know he had a brother Thomas, a brother Evan, and a sister Mary, among others.  I also believe he had an Uncle Rees Jenkins and an Uncle Evan Jenkins.  I believe Rees was a famous miner who lived in South Wales.
