Hi again, something is either wrong with the ages in 1851 or this 1841 census:-

Stephen CROCK 25 occ Collier
Hester 30
Sarah 7
Aaron 1
Residing at River Row, Trevethin
Census ref HO107/744/ 10/16 / 1

Good find!

Stephen Crook and Hesther are my gtx3 grandparents.
I still live in the area they lived and worked in.  Stephen was a fireman in the Risca Blackvein pit.  Stephen lost his son Mark in a mine explosion in 1880.  That’s why he has grand children living with him on the census and the ages look odd as he took in his daughter in law and grand children to live with him.  Both Marks are buried in Risca cemetery (old parish).  I’m not sure where Stephen/Hesther are they might have been buried back in Wiltshire.
