On the ninth of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty-five, at nine o’clock in the morning, there appeared before me, Julien Morin, first deputy fulfilling the role of Officer of Civil State for the town of Cherbourg (Manche), Jean François Diguet(?), locksmith, aged 45 years, and Jean François Duquesne(?), blacksmith, aged 41 years, not related to the deceased, residing in Cherbourg, who declared to me that Marie-Charlotte-Françoise Leherrissier, schoolteacher, born in Theil (Manche) on 31 January 1815, daughter of Jean and of Anne Picot(?), spinster, died yesterday at four o’clock in the afternoon in her home in this town, rue Grande Vallée, as I have been assured; and the declarants signed this present act with me, when it had been read.

(Someone else may do better with the queried surnames of the informants, who also signed.)
