Redcar Cemetery
« on: Friday 23 March 18 16:51 GMT (UK) »
I am hoping there is someone able to help with James T Henning who died in 1946 and is buried in Redcar cemetery. I would love to know the details on the headstone if there is one, I live overseas so unable to visit myself. TIA

The Cleveland FHS has transcribed the memorials in the main part of Redcar Cemetery - see http://clevelandfhs.org.uk/product/redcar-cemetery-main-part-nry/ for the PDF version, but most of their publications are also available on paper or CD.

I don't know what 'main part' refers to, so it might be a good idea to ask before spending money.

You can find an image of the burial register via the local council's website at http://www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/cemeteries - the data is hosted at Deceased Online, and you have to buy credits or pay a subscription to view full details. This should give you an exact plot number, which may help you work out if he's in the 'main part' or not.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Hi Ian

Despite a couple of emails and a response suggesting they would have a look, no I did not get an answer.
