Came across this 1911 census. This was just a year after Bethia & Charles were married in 1872 and a year after Bethia drowned 1874.

On ancestry, it says he married a Emily Chapman aged 18 years old.I doubt whether they married. If she was 54 in 1911 she must have been 16, 38 years earlier.

Another possibility
1881
RG11/315/F40/p27
22 Queen Anne Road, Hackney
Charles Donne 34 Appraiser Cowbridge, Glamorgan
Emily wife 26 Petersfield, Hants
John son 7 Portishead, Somerset
William son 6 City of London
Maud 4 City of London
Beatrice 2 City of London
Mary 0 City of London

I have found all the births except John and mmn Chapman but I can't find a marriage.

Emeltom

This would appear to be them. Haven't got a marriage for them so, doubt whether they did. Have posted the 1911 census.

Thank you.

Came across this 1911 census, which states they were married for 38 years.

On ancestry, it appears he married a Emily Chapman. I doubt whether they married.  If she was 54 in 1911 she must have been 16, 38 years earlier, in 1873

Charles and Bethia were married in 1872 and Bethia, died tragically in 1874.

I know that this is an old topic but I came across Bithia Donne's headstone at the Foster Hill Road Cemetery a few weeks ago. I have only just recently got round to adding the details onto FindAGrave;

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/195441748/bithia-donne

The headstone is still in quite good condition.

Sorry if you knew this already - I just thought it worth mentioning since this topic came up while looking for info about Bithia Donne via Google.
CHAPMAN - St. Columb, Cornwall
DALTON - Biggleswade and Sandy, Bedfordshire
GUYMER or GYMER - East Dereham/Brentford/Hammersmith
PLANT - Bedford, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire / Ryhall, Rutland

Many thanks for doing this for me. I do have a photograph of the headstone but, the inscription you have given is much clearer. Also thank you for the information on where she lived and her previous husband(they were married in 1866 and her husband died 1867) sadly no children. She died tragically in 1874 aged 37
