East Brook, Wokingham
« on: Saturday 24 March 18 18:02 GMT (UK) »
East Brook, Wokingham, was the family house of Gordon McClellan from his marriage in 1905. This was a military family (his father was Colonel McLellan of the 3rd Dragoon Guards). At some time before that it seems to have been a private school. Someone living there late 19th or early 20th century had some connexion with the family of the poet George Darley. Who was it? I can certainly find no connexion between Darley and the McClellans.
