Glasgow Herald - 28th Nov 1930

Weir - At Moat Brae Maternity House, Dumfries on the 25th November, 1930, to Mr and Mrs John Weir, Over Garrel, Lockerbie, a son.

There are two birth announcements for 1930 neither are yours.  What is interesting is these were both not local residents; one was from Kirkintilloch.

That's it! Thank you. Part of me always wondered if it was just a misunderstanding or something but I'm so pleased it's true. Now my Grandfather is part of the Peter Pan's legacy as J.M. Barrie used to live in the same building and it was said he'd came up with the idea of Peter Pan there.
