Hi Carl

No dates on your message, so here's some starters:

MARRIAGE June Qtr 1927, Leeds
Henry GUTHRIE
Ethel BELL

MARRIAGE Jun Qtr 1955, Leeds
Ethel GUTHRIE
George P BUCKLE

DEATH Mar Qtr 1971 Leeds

George Percival BUCKLE, dob 14 Dec 1906,

MARRIAGE Mar Qtr 1974 Leeds
Ethel BUCKLE
James KELLY

If she died in the 1980's, this is the one that may be her:

DEATH Mar Qtr 1981, Leeds
Ethel KELLY, dob 11 Mar 1906

BIRTH?
This looks like the GRO Index BIRTH, if the 1981 Death is your Ethel:
June Qtr 1906 Leeds - Ethel BELL, mms FARLEY

There is also these BELL  girls with mms FARLEY, registered in Leeds:
Emily, Sep Qtr 1900
Hilda, Mar Qtr 1912

Could Hilda be the sister you believe is called 'Ada'?

You should also lookup Ethel on the 1939 Register, as it could be of interest re: who she's with and ages.  If you are able to do that, post the details here - but we can't do any look-ups for you, du to rules of the site.

Cheers

To check that you have the correct family, you need to buy a few certificates e.g. Henry/Harry's marriage certificate to get information on his age and father, for starters, if you want to know where he came from.

Free search of 1939 gives:

   Ethel   Kelly (Guthrie,Buckle)   1906

Added:
Free search of 1939 also confirms that 1906 birth date from the death found.

In imagining Henry/Harry GUTHRIE might be about the same sort of age as Ethel…..

There is:
BIRTH
Harry GUTHRIE , Jun Qtr 1905 Leeds - mms BRIDGE

MARRIAGE
Fred GUTHRIE
Lily BRIDGE Married Mar Qtr 1903 Leeds
http://www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk/marriagesearch.php

BAPTISM 1905: at the Primitive Methodist Chapel, Kirkstall, YKS
Harry GUTHRIE baptised 17 May 1905, born 20 Apr 1905
Parents: Fred GUTHRIE, Carter, and Lily GUTHRIE, abode: 8 Pratts Road, Kirkstall.

DEATH 1969:
Harry GUTHRIE , dob 20 Apr 1969, Leeds

May or may not be your Henry/Harry .  But as Chempat says…..the marriage of Harry and Ethel is required to confirm your Harry's age,  father's details etc.

Cheers

I have a Thomas Guthrie who married Hannah Bradford in Leeds in 1794 in my family tree. I am searching for Thomas's relatives who have him in their family trees also. Does your family tree go back that far?
