Dick Stansfield’s death was registered in Beverley, Jun qtr 1974 - birthdate confirmed as 24 Sep 1893.

His birth was registered as Dick Stansfield, mother’s maiden name Padgett, Dec qtr 1893 Hull.
Brilliant news..who you know who dick stansfields father was please  he would be my great great grandfather

Frederick’s occupation was wood moulder (or more specifically “wood moulding machine driver”).

The family was living at 10 Temperance Place, Temperance St, Hull in 1891 and 1901 - so that is probably where Dick was born in 1893.

Dick’s naval record gives his birthdate as 24 September 1893 - born Hull.

First service was on his 19th birthday, 24 September 1912.

He was 5 ft 3 (and a quarter) inches tall, with light brown hair, grey eyes and fresh complexion.
