Family Tree Maker
« on: Monday 02 April 18 09:40 BST (UK) »
I have the 2014 version, but running under windows 10, it tells me it is no longer compatible to run with Ancestry.

80 quid seems a bit steep for the new version, but I am seriously considering it against my wanting to.

Is there any way to get my copy of 2014 to work with Ancestry?

Many thanks in advance

Sadly the answer would appear to be NO.
Have a read at

or
from the MacKiev faq's

FamilySync will be available only in Software MacKiev’s Family Tree Maker 2017 edition, which is planned for release on March 31, 2017.  No other FTM edition will sync with Ancestry trees.

Thanks for your reply, i'll buy myself a copy early next week then. See how long this one lasts before it gets discontinued.
