Iam looking for any information on a peter gearty (geraghty) b 1802 of Tully in killisanda. d 1882 aged 80yrs in Tully. 
He was married to Margaret Brady
b 1820. Who then moved to lower fennor in oldcastle. Her name has then changed on the 1901 census to Margaret Connolly aged 60. Living with her son peter geraghty.
My grandad.

Hello & welcome to Rootschat.
Peter Gearty birth 8th June 1864 address Tully Father Peter Gearty & Margaret Gearty formely Brady. Reg District Cavan.

The father Peter Gearty a land Surveyor died 14th June 1882 age 80 married.  Wife Margaret Gearty present. Reg District Cavan.

Margaret Gearty obviously married again to a Connolly but  cannot yet see a marriage on the Civil Registrations

I'm not familiar with Cavan geography but suspect you mean Killashandra (Cill na Seanrįtha: the English mangled place names wherever they went in the world).

Thank you for the information. Iam now trying to find more on peter gearty b 1802. Is there anywhere I could be directed to find any information on him.
