That was Feb 21 2009!

The earliest that I can find is Feb 2004 and there's an earlier one that says it's just registered and is beta testing.

The 2004 one is much the same as the snip that I put up.

Hi bearkat,

Could you see if there is a cookie for the site on your hard drive and then remove it? If you try when the cookie is gone, it's like a new connection.  Sometimes I've found that works.  Hope it does for you.  Marion

I thought of that but the same thing was happening on the iphone - and she tried two different urls 

PS - it's also a free site so it shouldn't prevent access

The ONLY page on the Archive.org site asking for money is on the donate page (as in image) .... normally any other page coming up wanting money indicates possible malware on the users end although getting the same result on different systems is worrisome.
