She could also be buried as Helen Samuel i suppose

Exactly - never say never.  Maybe a relative may read what has been written and come forward at a later date - very often happens.

Looking back at previous notes I also discounted a McArthur couple who lived in York Ontario

Roderick Mc Arthur and Helen A Scott who were married 16 October 1914 York Ontario.

James Samuel  - aged 78 years - mothers maiden name McDonald - 1981 - 313/ 119
Peterhead

Was there a death notice obituary in Scottish papers  ???
