Re: Two Clark sisters - and now Henry George/George Henry!

I was so delighted with the news about Ellen Louisa that I rang my friend Elaine (it's her family) at 8.30am! so she is delighted too. Thank you VERY MUCH!
As for Henry George ... he was born 31st Jan 1866 and baptised George Henry 4th May at Wyrardisbury Buckinghamshire 1866. I found the baptism alright and we have as the latest info, the 1901 census but nothing after that for him, apart from the births of his two girls. All thru the census records he is Henry George... I guess that makes him more difficult to find. There is nothing like a challenge!!

The spelling 'Wyrardisbury'  threw me when I first saw it a few years ago, one of my rellies supposedly born there.  I thought it was a transcription error at first, never thought it was Wraysbury  ;D  ;D

Glad we have sorted this part of your query out anyway  ;D

Yes Rosie; I was confused too but realised that it was an older name than Wraybury. It is on some older maps though
Now that gr daughter has gone home I can get back to the brick walls - got another one coming up!! But it will be early next week before I get round to details.
