So have you the marriage of William Young to Ann Bradshaw and a list of all the children of the couple, and their marriages?

PS are you reading my replies correctly, where have I said Eliza Young married a Bradshaw?

Has anyone seen any middle names for any of William Young and Ann bradshaw's children

Eliza or  sisters Sarah or Elizabeth could be the mother ..you'l need to find if Frederick could have been born before they married .

The name Frederick Albert could have been from the birth father or grandfather
...as no Frederick Alberts in the Young family .

To Keyboard86:

April 19th you sent a reply stating you had found Eliza birth registered 1949 mmm Bradshaw. I am just a little concerned by your tone "Am I reading your replies correctly"? I am a mature adult. I very much appreciate Every ones help. This is only my 3rd day at receiving e-mails and sending emails. I can tell you have been at it for a very long time.

I am very curious about this story but dont have credits to look up my guesses

could you give more details about what you do know please

did Eliza and samuel s have any children of their own ? if so where were they  born ?
just wondering if Fred's birthplace could be a mistranscription of "Bathwick" where Eliza and Samuel  were living in 1881

There seem to be several Fred YOUNG  s born in Wiltshire around 1853  could one be son of James rather than a younger brother
could he indeed be namesake for your  Frederic Albert YOUNG
what would be a reason for a fathers name to be crossed out ..could it just mean deceased?

If you do get hold of newspapers there are articles about James and Fred YOUNG  stealing boots 27 sep 1884 Wiltshire times and trowbridge advertiser

Fred Young described aS a known character 13TH OCT 1883    probably a different branch of the Wiltshire YOUNG s

ps Kot mmm means mother's maiden name so Eliza's mother was a Bradshaw

it is confusing at first .

Keyboard ..great work ...so no margarets in those middle names !

OK let's explore the possible marriages of the children, this is the marriage of James (H) Young 20th May 1861 St Lukes, Chelsea
James Young 24 occ Labourer Father William occ Labourer
Emily Tanner 20 Father Benjamin Thomas Tanner occ Painter
One of the witnesses appears to be Elizabeth Young?

1871 census
James H Young 34 occ Gen Lab b Bradford Wilts
Emily 29 b St Lukes, City Road
Selina 5 b Chelsea
James H 4 months b Chelsea
Census ref RG10/75/55/45
Both children have mmn Tanner

1881 census

James Young 43 occ Carman b Wilts
Emily 32? b Buckinghamshire?
Selina 15 b Chelsea
Daniel 2 b Chelsea
Edwin 4 months b Chelsea
Census ref RG11/75/103/57
Selina is Selina Ann, Daniel is Daniel Walter and Edwin is Edward Charles all mmn Tanner

1891 census
Emily Young 42 Widow b Corkwell, Wilts?
Daniel 13 b Chelsea
Census ref RG12/52/45/23

So who was the Emily on the 1896 voyage to Canada with Ann & Frederick?
