children of relative
« on: Monday 16 April 18 20:47 BST (UK) »
My great grandmother had 12 children. the youngest George R Hepple born in 1902 in Birtley, chester le Street. He married a Ruth A Keenan in 1934 in Chester le street. I was told by a relative he had 2 children. They were called Robert and Kevin. I have been unable to find any births for children of George and Ruth and wondered if anyone could help. I asked the relative who is quite old and now lives in Australia but she said she did not know when they were born. Hoping someone can help.

Hi

Can't spot "Kevin"'s possible birth.

( Geography = Londoner trying to find his way around )   ;D

Have you tried to find the family in 1939, which may give some indication as to whether the children are still alive?

There appear to be 4 Keenan/Slowther children born from 1914 to 1923.

Could Kevin be the son of one of the older children of her first marriage?

Or did George R first marry before 1934?

Thank you all for replying to my query. This is the only Ruth A Keenan I could find apart from her daughter who was born in 1923. She had only one son Matthew and 3 daughters.   I could not find any children for George and Ruth. She must have been 7 years older than George.  He died in 1970 aged 68 years and Ruth died in 1964 aged 69 years. No Robert or Keith found at all.  I will send an email to my relative in Australia who sent me the information when I could not find it. Once again thank you so much for your help.  It is greatly appreciated.
