It means 'Where am I?'

A photo of building or scenery, and we all do detective work to figure out where in the world it is, and if it still stands

There are some others that as far as I can tell haven't yet been definitively solved. The ones below are those that I sometimes revisit in case any more photos are online that might help - and if I found anything, you can be sure I'd let you know. There have also been some that I thought I'd never manage to help any more with - two that spring to mind are a scene with boats possibly on the Sharpness Canal, and a dockside (?) which might have been in Hull. I haven't kept links to those, so others might like to post them if they can.

Where Am I series:

226 - Building (a rather fine country house)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=750768.0

228 - Church (rather unusual site layout, new extension at right-angles to old? with old tower)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=750851.0

234 - Another one of those houses (country house)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=758205.0

Where is this series:

4 - Church with spire; palm trees, hillside and ?caravans
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=727354.0

6 - Chapel in the woods
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=727646.0

7 - Big ol' house (looks Scottish)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=729355.0

9 - Manor House (grander than WAI 226 & 234)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=747603.0

Others:

Ruins - But Where? (possibly Scotland?)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=751273.0

Old photograph - is it a hotel? Where is it? (possibly Sheffield area?)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=755121.0

Village Street Scene - Hillside, buildings
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=755291.0

Old Church in Cumberland, perhaps Workington area
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=758722.0

Cycle Race
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=764345.0

Location, Location...But Where? (park with pavilion-type building, hills behind)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=764229.0

Manor House, possibly in Northumberland?
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=785364.0

Identify Location? (inside a building - some kind of institution/hotel/masonic hall??)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=788861.0

And two paintings:

Where might this be? (riverbank scene)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=769086.0

Signature and scene for recognition please (canal scene, probably Low Countries)
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=776140.0

That'll keep you all quiet for a bit  ;D
