Turner and Brayne.
« on: Wednesday 18 April 18 14:19 BST (UK) »
1851 Wrexham  (Esther Brayne )
Esther Turner wid   45 Hampstead Middlesex
 William Turner  13  b Wrexham
 Mary Ann Turner  11 “
Esther Haighton Turner  8 b Wrexham

Can anyone find the marriage of Esther  to  unknown Turner, 1841 census isn`t available for Wrexham .
Also could  you find the marriage of William Turner  to Amelia Lloyd in 1863. This will hopefully confirm the name of his father and his occupation.
Thanks.

Just remembered that I have the surviving  Wrexham Town 1841 census transcriptions. I'll go see if I can find the copy and report back as I think Holt Street would be on it.

1841

Hope Stree, Wrxham - Fleece Street (? side street off Hope st?)

Richard Turner, 30, builder, not b. county
Esther, 30, nbc
Willia,. 3, b. county
Mary, 1, b.c
Mary Davies, 17, F.S., b.c.

So maybe looking for an extra-county/parish marriage.

Looks good, Rosie  :D

I'm sure I found a few marriages for Richard to an Esther earlier today - but none with Brayne as surname  :-\
