Photo of Grave at Walston Churchyard
« on: Thursday 19 April 18 23:45 BST (UK) »
I am asking for a photograph of the grave site/headstone of Jean Hogg, buried at the Walston Churchyard. I've attached a map along with the monumental  inscription for her grave. Thank you.

Hi,

I may be passing by that way this weekend.  If I don't get over this weekend, I'll definitely have a look over the next couple of weeks if you don't get any other takers in the meantime.

Best wishes

Hi

I was able to pop over to Walston this afternoon.  The good news is that the stone is still standing and was very easy to find with your map - once I worked out how to get to the churchyard from the road!  The bad news is that the sun this afternoon was behind the stone, so has affected the quality of the pictures a bit.

I have attached a photo of the stone and its surrounding area - in the wider shot the 'Hogg' stone is the leaning one just to the left of the middle of the picture, to the left of the stone lying flat on the ground.  I've had to resize the pictures to post them here, so if you would like them emailed to you, just send me a private message with an email address.  I've also taken some others of the churchyard, so let me know if you would like them.

Best wishes
